Personal Narrative
These are some of my favorite moments that have happened over the years. While my academic accomplishments stand out among some of my favorite memories, these moments beat them by far.
Long Island Hospitality Ball
Seeing my Mom do what she loves encourages me to keep working on my most challenging tasks. She always tells me, "it doesn't feel like work when you love your job." Going to events like this is so special because I get to spend time with my mom, and seeing her doing what she loves inspires me to follow my passions in engineering and inventing.
Homecoming Parade
2021-2022
With limited school events during my freshman and sophomore year, I was happy to participate in our school spirit events and homecoming. It was fun to march in the Homecoming Parade for my Junior Year with my friends and fellow classmates.
Mystic Connecticut
I love spending time with my family. Going on shorter trips are some of the most memorable moments. This picture was from the boating museum in mystic Connecticut; As someone who loves history its great to find out what makes each location unique.
Varsity Track
Track season is one of my favorite times of year, especially the spring season. While doing individual competitions is great in the winter, having a team score adds to the comradely between teammates. This picture was taken after we went undefeated for the second year in a row.
Varsity Football
Wearing your Varsity football jersey to school before a game is a tradition that has been going on for years at Half Hollow Hills West. I am so excited that I am part of this tradition. I have been on the football team for two years now, and I am so sad that I will have to leave my teammates and the family built through this sport.
Spending Time With Family
Getting to see my extended family is always a time that I value. Here is a photograph of my Grandfather and cousins; they make the long filming days go by so fast. My grandfather and I have an extremely close relationship. He truly is someone whom I admire the most in this world.
Archery
Out of all my hobbies, archery is one of my favorites. Growing up a fan of the Avengers and Arrow, I lit up when I got a bow for Christmas in 2018 and have practiced ever since.
Boxing
What started as a way to lose weight and have an emotional release turned into my favorite hobby. I started boxing after deciding to play fewer video games, and it has stuck with me as one of my favorite exercises and bonding activities with my Dad.
Interests
In addition to Marvel and DC, I am a big fan of Avatar the Last Air Bender, Star Wars, The Big Bang Theory, and Battle Bots
My favorite super hero is Thor,
My favorite ATLA character is Zuko.
My favorite Star Wars character is tied between Revan and Starkiller.
Math and Science
Equations always look more impressive on chalkboards. Growing up, I watched movies where the Mathematician and the Scientist would write out equations on a giant chalkboard, I look forward to doing the same.
Sports
When I am not doing schoolwork, volunteering, or at practice for the sports I play, I enjoy going to sports games with my family, and I love the energy of seeing the game live.
